Bottle Or Battle

This is a true story which happened to a friend of mine. He went into an off-licence up the Shankill one evening and asked for two bottles of wine and a couple of cans of beer. The girl rang them up in the till.
'£10.66,'she said.
'Oh! I said, 'the Battle of Hastings!'
She thought for a minute. 'I don't think we have any bottles of Hastings, mister.'
