Not So Smart

The smart city girl tried a practical joke on the farmer who sat at the bar counter. She engaged him in conversation about the weather and the crops and suddenly shouted at the top of her voice, 'GO TO BED WITH YOU - YOU MUST BE JOKING;
Everybody in the bar looked in shocked amazement and the embarrassed farmer sidled away to a table in the corner. The girl got sorry later for what she had done and she came over to the farmer and spent some time apologising to him. Suddenly the farmer shouted £20 - FOR YOU - YOU MUST BE JOKING.'
