Wanting To Die

Three Corkmen were caught up in the French Revolution and were sentenced to death. They were allowed to choose between the guillotine and hanging.
The First Corkman chose the guillotine but just as the blade was about to fall, it stuck. According to the old custom he was released
The same thing also happened to the second Corkman When the third Corkman's turn came he chose hanging,saying "That damn guillotine doesn't seem to be working at all'.
