Not Satisfied

A Corkman got a job on a building site but the foreman was not satisfied with the amount of work he was doing. One afternoon he came across the Corkman digging in a pit. He ordered the Corkman to get out of the pit and the Corkman complied
'Now get back in again', he told him. After this had happened half-a-dozen times the Corkman said, 'look, what the heck are you playing at?'
'That's better', said the foreman, 'you're taking more out on your boots than you were throwing out with your shovel'
