Memorial
An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman were all sentenced to be hanged but
were allowed to choose The tree from which The execution would take place.
I'll choose an English oak tree,' said The Englishman and he was blasted into
eternity.
I'll choose a Scottish mountain ash,' said The Scotsman and he went The same way.
I'll choose an Irish gooseberry bush,' said The Irishman.
'But that would take twenty years to grow tall enough,' said his executioner.
'I don't mind waiting,' said The Irishman.
